Some members of our community experience food insecurity and are hungry every single day, whether homeless, elderly or sick. These groups simply need help!
The Lifelong Community Program located in Seattle, Washington
Lifelong.org is a non-profit organization that delivers food, housing, and health services to people living with chronic illnesses. Lifelong came to The Platinum Packaging Group with the goal of providing a suitable food packaging program. With the sale of a 10-foot Platinum Series 60 tray sealer, they can now prep up to 60 trays per minute, amounting to 3000 per hour.
The actual packaging is comprised of a recyclable paperboard tray and film lidding offering. This makes it possible to provide a nutritious entrée in a completely sustainable package.
